The coolest styled cookbook ever!
This may be the coolest styled ingredients cookbook ever!!!
Swedish furniture and homeware brand IKEA have released this 140-page coffee-table baking book featuring photographs of ingredients laid out in patterns “Hembakat är Bäst”. It is filled with 30 recipes for baked goodies broken down by ingredient and presented in a very visually unique and spectacular way.
The photos by Carl Kleiner are absolutely amazing and so is the food styling that has been created by Evelina Bratell. The book is for free but only in IKEA in Sweden - I need to go to Sweeden sooooooon!

My favorite Christmas Markets
There is no place like Denmark during Christmastime. It’s cold, snowy and dark and one of the most cozy places on earth. I love the Christmas season and all the traditions that come with. One of my most cherished traditions is going to Christmas markets. These are my favorite Christmas markets in Denmark:
CHRISTMAS BAZAAR ON RENTEN, 2 DEC.
The 'Christmas Bazaar' on Renten where a selection of Danish designers and cool brands (Daisy, Karmameju, Soft Gallery...etc.) are presented and sells everything from clothing, home accessories and jewelry. I buy most of my Christmas gifts here - both to my friends, family and myself...

DANISH DESIGN SCHOOL’S CHRISTMAS MARKET, 5 DEC.
This is where you can get all the cool Danish designs – before the designers get famous! The very popular Christmas Market af the Danish Design School is a great place to buy special presents and cool stuff just for your self. They sell all kinds of craft made by the students - so if you are into design and want to see what the innovative Danish students are up to – this is the place to go!

CHRISTMAS MARKET IN CHRISTIANIA, 6-20 DEC.
The Christiania Christmas market has all kinds of crafts, elaborate candles, warm sweaters, handmade jewellery and much more. All is spiced with delicious aromas, music and food - in other words, a market that most of all resembles a Turkish bazaar, and not a traditional Danish christmas market....

TIVOLI CHRISTMAS MARKET, 14 NOV - 30 DEC.
Tivoli is the perfect spot to really get in the Christmas mood - especially for Children. Enter Tivoli and discover a world of beautiful scenery, spectacular lighting and lots of restaurants serving traditional Danish Christmas meals.
Visit Nissekøbing and study the life of the Danish pixie in this grand display of mechanical puppets. You can also listen to the Nisse Band playing Christmas songs, enjoy the Tivoli Boys Guard Parade or meet Santa Claus – who has settled with his sleigh and reindeer to listen to your innermost wishes. Really, Christmas at Tivoli is not to be missed.

Skovshoved Hotel - great offer!
I got a great lunch today at Skovshoved Hotel. I would say that this is one of the best place to eat and stay if you are in Copenhagen. This cosy seaside hotel is 350 years old and full of history, you get the feeling of walking into a country house. Yet at the sametime it is urban, chick, tasteful and up-beat - very Danish.
I could highly recommend it for a romantic getaway weekend - or just visit their wonderful restaurant with a fantastic wine list and excellent food.
If you're very quick - you can right now via Sweetdeal buy a 5-course gastronomic menu on Skovshoved Hotel to well below half price - only DKK 249,- A fantastic Christmas gift for either yourself or for someone you know appreciates a good culinary experience...
